MXS Icons with 2.5.1

Since updating to 2.5.1, I've had some problems with my mxs icons not displaying properly.
Rather than having the red "Maxwell studio" icon, they have the plain, generic "document" icon:
Sorry the image is from the Trash, but it's the only place I have lots of mxs files all under one roof.
Is there something I can do to change this? It was useful being able to quickly identify .mxs's by their distinctive logo.
It's worth saying that after I updated, mxs files were opened by Maxwell Render (rather than Studio) by default. I had to manually change the default program to Studio.

Yep, still no red "Studio" logo, I have to use the black "Maxwell" logo.

my MXS files have always been black just like MXI. Hmmmmm
However I did notice MXM files are the purple of Mxed if they are small enough to not have a image preview.

Ahhh ok I just made the connection to what you said. You used to see the Red Studio Icons on your scene files (MXS) for files you assigned to open in Studio? what version did you have before this, because I don't recall seeing them.
I just looked into my 2.5.1 Studio Info.plist to see what icon is assigned to Document Types and it's name is maxwell, the icon file from Maxwell it's self. (the grey one) I can't say for sure (not a mac application developer expert), but I believe they need to include the icons referenced in the info.plist in each application bundle. And the Studio application only contains the Red Studio icon. It doesn't contain a copy of the maxwell (grey) icon file, any other. So if you do change .mxs files to be Studio, you end up with a default blank white page like in your shot above.
I also looked at my install of 2.5, (I still have the installer), and it also references but does not contain the maxwell icon file. So unless there is some another trick I'm unaware of (likely) I doubt it would have shown red icons either.
I like the idea of seeing the red for studio associated files.

I've used 1.7, 2.0 & 2.5, I thought .mxs's were red, and if they never were I think they should be if they're set up to automatically open in Studio rather than Maxwell. Maybe it's one for the wish list forum rather than the OS support forum.

I modified my Studio's info.plist, and now mine are red.
I changed the document type icon file name entry from 'maxwell' to 'studio'. I have Xcode on my systems.
(not recommended! without the proper tools and a bit of understanding of how to edit a plist file... and how to fix it if you do it wrong.)

In that case I'll leave it to the experts, thanks for your help.

@pipcleo
No they are supposed to be Grey, as you see them.
the problem is if you set one (or all) to open in Studio rather than Maxwell (the default), then we get plain white document icons like in the image above.

Hi all,
I found the bug, and will be solved for the next version, in the meantime it can be solved manually by changing a value in the Info.plist inside Studio, you must open it with "show package contents" right-clicking on it. In the "Icon file Name" tag change "maxwell" to "studio" as shown in the image.
Best regards,
nachob

people need Xcode to get the pList editor shown.
