Slow Selection on 1.7.1

I haven't been using Maxwell much for the last 6 months or so, but somewhere in that timespan it has become painfully slow. When I select objects from the list, there's is a half second delay, and the window kind of jumps around every time I make a selection. It's barely usable now, whereas it used to be quite snappy. Did an OSX update break something? This is in Studio 1.7.1, 8 core Mac Pro, OSX up to date.

Are you by chance on dual monitors? I'm a pc user, but it sounds like the same problem I encountered when I would open my model through my secondary monitor. Try opening the model on your primary screen; it seems to be an OpenGL issue.

No, only one monitor on this machine unfortunately.

You should check in Studio preferences if you have VBO enabled and also changing OpenGL multithreaded option on and off. Depending on the scene OpenGL multithreaded can be faster or slower.
Hope it helps

Odd, I just cycled both of those options off (and back on), and everything seems back to normal now. Maybe it was intermittent or unrelated, but it's good again. Thanks for the help!
