hi all

dont missunderstand me i love maxwell! but there are some things that really makes me angry:

I have installed maxwell on my G5 1,8dual without any problems.
then updatet to tiger everything fine
a week later i tried to install it on a 2x,25 G5.... no way, the maxwell app work fine but if i press render cant initilize maxwell........
is it a license problem to install on both computers maybe?

so i have posted this before but maybe there still some users with the same problem. I have tried all solutions posted before here, no way nothing helps.

it would be great if someone can help me.

Hi Matussi...same happens to me.

I found this solution:
In the environment.plist should say: /Applications/maxwell.app/Contents/MacOS

Before that type the name of your volume, for example:
Macintosh HD/Applications/maxwell.app/Contents/MacOS/

(if your hard disk volume it's called Macintosh HD)

...well it worked for me

...I hope it works

PD. Remember there are two enviroment.plist: one in .macosx a other in the Maxwell contents.

sorry but i was not here over the weekend, i have tried your solution and it didnt work, but then i deleted the .plist files and tried it again with the standard .plist... NOW IT WORKS.
