I've found...
MXCL 1.7 (OSX)
A scene that has rendered using MXCL 1.7 (XP) will not render on my MAC (2.8 octocore) with MXCL 1.7 (OSX). MXCL 1.7 (OSX) returns an error that some triangles do not have a material assigned to them.
Shouldn't that error also stop it from rendering with the XP machine?
I have not had this problem with MR 1.5 thru 1.6.8. when I've been able to render on the XP machine and then export to OSX.
