Network render cannot add new job in Maxwell 1.7

Mac Os X, it tells me the file is obsolete or does not exist

Maxwell renders it, but cannot ad as a job network any file

being created with C4D 10.5 Maxwell plugin

PLease, check that both your plug-in and your mxcl client, server and manager are version 1.7.

After that, the mxs file should be located in your user folder (or any of its subfolders) or in a secondary drive or network drive. If the file is located in your primary drive (the one where the OS is running) and the file is in a general location, it wont work.

I have tried too to copy everywhere but no way,

another question, please, what's the max resolution i can render with Maxwell?, because i am trying to render about 4000 x 5000 pixels, but at the moment i only have success with around 2800 x 2800 pix. max

and i have not yet included hi def. bitmaps!!

About the resolution that's memory dependant in the osx version. You have a limit of 4GB for the application rendering (It's a 32 bit application), depending on your settings/textures/mutilight you maximum resolution can change. If this limit is low for you, you can try with the "64 bit technology preview" only when needed. Please take a look on the readme file in that folder before using it.

Is the only report???

who cannot do a network render?

I have repaired disc permissions, tried to copy docs everywhere

now are in desktop but no way

what could i am doing wrong?

I am trying to render 5 renders with 2 macs only

Is there an right order to do it?

It must be a local problem since other users are reporting that's working, we continue by e-mail if you have no problems, so we can move files easily.

The problem was solved by e-mail.

The solution found was doing a "pack & go" with the mxs scene in Studio. This helped all the machines find the paths that could not be accesed through the network.
