Hi, I know it's probably a silly question but since I would like to install
maxwell 1.7 and the announcement said to first uninstall version 1.6 I
wonder how to do this on Mac since I've only used this version on Mac.

I just delete everything?

Thanks,

Nils

Yes, you can simply delete the folder, but if you have any other material , texture, or anything in those folders you created copy it to another location before deleting. You can also delete the preferences files for maxwell applications, you will find them in your home->library->preferences and he name start with com.nextlimit... But this step is not needed.

Hi nachob,

I replaced the folder name "maxwell" in "maxwell 1.6" and added to the folder Applications the 1.7

I have not had any problem, everything seems to work!

Do you believe it is wrong to do in this way?

Thanks,

valerio

Yes Valerio that's correct. There is usually no need for more deleting.
