C4D, maxwell.dylib and rendering

Yesterday I rendered a scene which worked pretty well.
Today I had some small changes - no new elements in the scene -
and could not start rendering.
When I press the render button C4D always crashes because of problems with "maxwell.dylib".
Could not manage to find out what is wrong.
Anybody's got an idea what to do?
