OSX Network Rendering - Adding an MXS to job queue

I have been toying with the idea of trying to get network rendering working on my two Macs.

Every time I try and add an MXS file to the job queue to comes up with the following error message:-

MXS File does not exist or it is invalid or Obsolete. Please choose a valid MXS.

I have tried all sorts of MXS files including those hat come with M~R. The error message is always the same.

Any ideas?

There is a known problem with the network rendering panel for OSX.

Hi Tyrone,

Thanks for the response. If this is a known problem, is there a work around? I know some people are network rendering on Macs so it must work somehow.

Yes,

There is a bug in the networking access to files in the released version of OSX, there is no workaround. It will be updated soon. Sorry for the inconveniences.
