Network render - assistance needed please

Hi I really hope one of you can help me.
I have two iMacs on an Airport extreme wifi network - nothing fancy.
I just dont understand how to make Maxwell render using both machines on the network.
Can anyone explain me the way it works ? The manual was extremely limted on this subject.
Any help is appreciated.
