Maxwell is running great on my 8 core Mac Pro, but when I reinstalled the latest version of Maxwell on my Dual G5 2.0 the Interface on the software is not the same as it is on my Mac Pro. The imput fields are missing or scrunched vertically. When rendering in mcxl the boxes indicating time past and time remaining are empty, as well as all the boxes. I've tried everything i can think of but the problem still exists. The interface on mxed is totally unuseable.[/b]

Try deleting preferences files. They are located in ~/Library/Preferences of your user folder.

Thanks Nachob,
I deleted the preference files, repaired disk permissions and restarted the computer. The interface was better, with mac OSX look, but still squished. It's almost like there's 200 pt leading between each line of type. Any other thoughts.

Could you show a snapshot of your interface?
Thanks

That looks like you have a problem with your fonts in you G5. We are using "Lucida Grande Regular" for all the fonts in the UI (its the system standard font). Check in your G5 if it is correct, if not replace it with the one in your Mac Pro. Also check if you didn't replace Libs folder in you g5 installation in case you didn't overwrite everything when installing on that machine

Nachob, you are the MAN!javascript:emoticon(':D')
I replaced the font folders on the G5 with the folders from the Mac Pro and all is well.
Thanks!
