Manual vs Dowload - Camera Roll

I've downloaded the Linux version ... 
Reading from the manual:
It worked fine, without any problem... was a change of plans?
And now ... go!
But I find this problem:
Adding a new camera it goes always in the same place. I can correct everything except the roll angle. It keep 0.000 also if is evidently not.
Modifying ad old camera it make goes bad too..
Reading from the manual:
I go to the download page and I find maxwell64-1.5_linux64.tar.gz that is the compressed folder of Maxwell Render... no rpm or deb ...Linux:
install the RpM package.
rpm –ivh maxwell-1.2.2-1.rpm
Create a user environment variable named Maxwell_RooT that points to the Maxwell...
