hi there
I'm trying to render an older project I did in cinema4d.
After voxelisation, mxcl just crashes withouth further notice.
I also tried to open it in studio, which works, but I don't know
studio good enough to tell what's wrong with the scene...
Maybe you can have a look at it.

I tried to apply two textures into one diffuse tag. Obviously, this didn't work (even though it seemed to be possible within c4d). Maybe there was also a problem with the applied texture itself. It had an alpha channel. who knows... I will be looking forward to an updated c4d plugin...

Hi Yves,
I downloaded the file and played arround with it! Your problem seems to be one of your textures. I replaced the ones you used and everything works out nice. It voxelizes and then starts the render process. I used to have the same problem a couple of weeks ago. same thing. Jst crashed after voxelistaion.
Try to check your textures and be sure just to use jpg's only. Hope that gets you moving again!
Ciao Carsten

hi carsten
thank you for your reply. It has indeed been a texture problem.
It forks fine now. I need to buy a new computer, though. Mine is
*so* slow.
Another question... Is it possible that ags glass doesn't break the light?
Kind regards
yves

If you mean break as in affect it's direction then yes, afaik AGS doesn't do so. It has an IOR of 1, what a lame hack
