8 core Mac Pro licence issue

According to the rumors 8-core Mac Pro's (2x4 core processors) are soon to be announced. Since the standard single user licence does only allow the use of 4 cores, I'm wondering if these new machines will only render with half power or if Maxwell will charge double licence fees.
Anyone?
Best regards

Unless NL changes its licensing policy, one license will only allow the use of 4 of those 8 cores. So either get out your checkbook, or convince NL to adopt a more sensible licensing policy.

...this all has been discussed many many times - no word from NL ...since the anouncement at the beginning of this year to change the policy when dual-/quad-cores become standart... maybe in 3 or 4 years when every pda owns a quad?
...but why not buy some more licenses - if they became needless when the policy changes after you've bought them you can buy some more computers to use them... no need to plan to much for the future...
