Mac / Lw : Me & Mw bugs

Hi all,
I start a little bug list concerning my config... I'll probably detail or provide test scenes later, meanwhile a list is better than nothing!
- - Lw plug can't write mxm: resolved with 5 May update (cool!)
- Lw plug don't export emitters in a correct way:
When I export a scene from Lw, the emitters only emit localised bright points, if i open the scene in studio and render from there (no modifications on the materials), the light emition is good.
The difference between test image probably partially come from camera or ISO convertion, but it is from the same mxs, and the light diffusion is clearly not the same.
Scene setup:

Render from LW, SL7:

Render from Studio, SL 7:

- Glare / Apperture / Obstacle:
Not sure if it's working, if someone can provide a test scene it would be easier.. My tests so far: aperture seemed to have an effect on one of my first renders but the obstacle map didn't change anything.
I set up a test scene with 3 out of focus colored emitters, both aperture and obstacle seem to have no effect.
The bugs can come from me or from Mw on my config, so if anyone have the same or know how to resolve them just talk!

same problem on a common scene. Not the same hour of the day so not the same illumination but we can see the same emitter problem..

The emiter problem seems to still be here after the 14th May update.. very cool for the n-gones however!

Hi, I have problems with glare, since, although it shows the previous one to me, it does not update the final image.

Thanks for the reply laurindel!
Yes it must be the same problem... Does aperture map have any effect for you?
Do emiters work fine for you from maxwell plug in?
I'm also having a problem with textured clip maps they render fine if there is the reflectance is on flat color but with a texture it renders very differently in studio and maxwell (the texture is visible but 50% transparent)..

Did you click the refresh button beneath the preview?
Don't forget to save out from the file menu!

Check the material, does ND= 1? for non transparent objects values between 3 & 20 are good.

Thanks for the help bbuxton, but it is already ND 1 (at least for the ghost mat, but i tried with all to ND 1 and it isn't better).
Material setup:
I tried with single face poly and full volume: no change.
I tried with .tga at first, and then .jpg which is worst.
You can see the preview works well, but in renders the leaf is 50% transparent...

Here's a quick (...!) test render (zoom 200%), SL 11.. you can clearly see the shadow through the clipmap...
Does any one know what's the problem? I think i tested averything i could...
Link to very simple test file (300ko).. if somebody can test on other configs it would be very helpful!

Sorry I meant try ND of at least 3
I will try your test file and see if I can get it to work.
edit:-
Perhaps this is why no clipmapped examples were included in the mxm libraries not even in the ones from the A-team. From what I can see its a bloody convoluted way of going about things.
NL perhaps an optimized layer for clipmaps/alpha in the material editor would be an idea. Simple to set up & minimal render hit for v1.x please.

Thanks a lot bbuxon, the quicker we clear problems the quicker they'll be solved!
I just tested with:
- 1 object for background and 1 for clipmap: no change. (before it was 1 lightwave object with 2 layers)
- ND 20 for the leaf: no change..
Yes NL attititude towards testing always been strange/not optimal... If they provided test files in .mxs and main app/plugins native formats with a .jpg of the correct result, the main testing for all configs could be done in a few days...
But it seems the testing workflow is not that clear, even for them (since there seem to be quite explicit disfunctionments in current version).. It's a shame since we should not be beta-testers anymore, and don't have acces to testing-versions.. which was the original plan.
