The revolution...

Ok, i've downloaded my copy of Maxwell. It was an adventure. And this is the first nice thing. After i've downloaded the manual, i've followed exactly the installation rules and when i launch an mxs file maxwell don't start. Also, i'm disappointed with some little additional things (for example i can't hide maxwell studio using the HIDE command on the menu or the keyboard shortcut)

Well, i'm a serious person and a serious professional and i'm really tired to believe in this "revolution". I'll made my renders with Lightwave and Carrara, as always.

Sorry

Have a nice day

strange, the 'hide' menu is working here, but the corresponding shortcut is missing, indeed.

as for your installation problems, did you have a look here:

maybe it resolves...

cheers

Thanks for the reply,

but the question is: "why there is a manual with the wrong instructions"?

I think that good people have to learn from their mistakes. It seems that we are in the same situation of the beta and the other RC versions. When i install an application (Cinema 4d, Lightwave, Carrara, Word, Firefox, simple text etc) usually it works. Maxwell is incredibly outstanding, it have a different and revolutionary approach: it don't start, you can't use it as a normal software.
