Same here. You have to start downloading all over again. a SIT file is NOT the way this should be done.

And again, and again, and again.
How difficult can it be for God's sake?
You know the number of users you have so you know the likely transaction load.

I used speed download do grab it a second time and the error went away. although it took about 4-5 times to try and unstuff it. sometimes it wouldnt unstuff the entire .sit file. anyhow.. if your on an intel based mac it really won't matter as it's not a UB. It runs very very slow, unusable actually, in its current state.

Well it seems they have better servers in the Czech Republic than in Spain.

Some guys were recommending to use "speed download" (comes with a 15 days trial - should be enough to get your maxwell). This one worked very well for me as well.

hey MACSIMUS3D ! (buy a macbook pro and install xp there - very esthetic computer!!)
m~r working cool !
rendering from studio is no problem (yet)...
only the maya plugin is missing, the weird pattern over the image is a little annoying with small rendering times and worst, macs and pcs can't be linked together yet to render...
but it's cool to have a version finally working !!!

oh i really wish i could afford one of those new MacBookPro or what they're called, they're both sexy and very good from what i heard so far.
Cool! so from within Studio it works pretty well to render, that's good news. As far as you tested it ofcourse.
So you have no Maya plugin yet :/ that's no good, i hope it comes out soon then so you guys can start producing good looking stuff.
I'm glad it works

now let's just hope the Linux users get their release soon.
Thanks for the reply

I kept getting that stuffit error as well. Does anyone know why it does this?
It wouldn't download the entire file for some reason. This was on 10.3.9 and safari- I tried ftp'ing on my work laptop using tiger and it worked fine.
Very annoying. I sent them an e-mail saying they shouldn't use .sit. (and why not use .sitx?)
