ok so I just want ot know if you are still going to support Linux as eveyone has gotten a RC5 but us and I am wondering who is testing Maxwell on Linux because I get the imporession that MIke and tOm are not on Linux and I am just wrry that your reluctance to realease a RC for Linux is going to super dleay the final release of Maxwell 1.0 Linux. PLease just some info. I knwo you competitors are plannig on releaasing linux version,= so I hope taht you are still supporting Linux

Hi tikal26,

Yes, we still support Maxwell for Linux platform and it will be on the way.
We're sorry for long delays, it doesn't mean we give up this platform.

Best regards,
Tom

thanks for the reply

Tom could you please tell us how many of the A-team members are actually working in linux? which application and plugin they are testing?

thank you.

hopefully we are not going to have to wait too long for 1.0

they are saying that the next releaseis going to be 1.0 which means that we should also get a linux version. Hopefully we won't have to wait forever. I guess it makes sence since the have netwrok render enable again

I won't be that sure, I guess there is actually no A-team testers for linux, and lisux is out of the company. we will see.

maybe victor uses linux?

Maybe Victor uses Linux , but I think that it would be weird if no one from the A-team uses linux I am sure they have linux A-team members. I don't think that they would wait this long without testing it on Linux.

maybe in this forum here we can scream and rant and bash, it's a kind of anarchy plesure garden, we don't have rules and guidelines, since nobody is coming very often... :D

only the houdini section is more desolate. :D
