Finally after a couple of weeks spinning my wheels, I was told by Ayumi that Maxwell requires a three button mouse.

I would suggest writing that in the manual.

Yes you need a wheel mouse...

But you make the wrong question ... Keyboard shortcut is not mouse.

... and in keyboard i think is not any key.

thought the same... keyboard is not mouse...

but other question.

is there any other list with keyboard shortcuts? because i can't find the render command «cmd-shift-p» in the menus up there...

is there a speedup combination? like «cmd-ctrl-option-shift-F1-help-upkey-nextpage-@-s»?

:?:

The annoying thing about all of this is Next Limit's inability to communcate basic issues.

All of the CAD apps I use on the Mac do NOT require a scroll wheel mouse.

You should be able to program your keyboard to accomplish any command you like. Look at Vectorworks or Sketchup.

You're right, we mac users use one button most.

but since the first time, the second mouse button (ctrl-leftclick) was available with other than apple mice, i started using it. it really simplifies a LOT...

plus, for maya, a 3 button mouse is a must, so i had no problem.

actually the zoom, pan and tumble actions are the same as in maya, so it was very easy to find that out in maxwell already at the first moment.

even realflow has these camera moves in the same manner...

ah, and one important point:

if You buy a 3 button mouse (third is always the scrollwheel button), buy one with a fourth button for the thumb and programme it to «undo»...

for me, as european, it's a gigantic load of crap because y and z are different than in the US.

just look ahead :) shit happens !
