no, does not work here...lluistar wrote:You can save it to inside the Maxwell folder.
Applications/Maxwell/Output.
Looks like a permissions problem
I just tried myself. You need to add the image extension (.tga or .jpg) depending which format you want to save it. The location does not mater.mgroeteke wrote:no, does not work here...lluistar wrote:You can save it to inside the Maxwell folder.

thanks for the hint - that's it it, needs an ending! - yes it works indeed with JPG! i only tried the native .MXI format, but now i see there's an extra menu for that and it's disabled. go figure...lluistar wrote:I just tried myself. In your case the image should be called test.tga or test.jpg
yes, i got it working - no sky, only emitter. but the trick was to save the file, quit and restart studio, reload the file and then start the rendering...mattusi wrote:hey mgroeteke, hello all
got a question, have u or somebody else try to render without skydome etc. only with ermitters?
Its not working here, everything black. i have tried everything but no result.
also the preview ist not rendering corectly sometimes its yellow sometimes its the 1a 2a 3a... texture.
and mxstudio is using a LOT of CPU even if u not working, thats bad
i hope there will be new plugins soon because the .stl meshes are horrible.
just didn't want to stay OT, so please see here:Kabe wrote:The more I read this, the more I'm asking myself if that was tested at all.
Has any tester actually cranked out a single image using the OS X version
that was not based on a windows scene?
The sheer number of obvious issues is insulting. It really looks like they
started to work on the Mac version on January 17th.
