I second that. If NL needs help on testing on *nix platform please ask. I'm not a linux guru but if this could help speeding up things... :?

I agree, but I am pretty sure we will be the lasts. :(

What I can't understand is the total lack of communications, as many pointed out already. But I can't speculate anything from this...

same here, frustration, nothing more. I also would love to make plans for buying another box, and maxwell is becoming the "needle of the balance"... :(

I really don't want to buy another MS licence, I have really no reason to...

If so, I can't see any reason for not releasing studio meanwhile! I think the core optimization is one of the main issues, since on mac *nix is running on PPC (G4 and G5), however on linux there is a variety of possibility needing compatibility and optimization... Other than this it seems that we are a very small users group waiting for linux...

i don't think so

I feel that if they want to be take serius by the movies studios tha are going to need to realease a working linux version soon, plus Linux is a good system for Modeling. I don't know why all the siliece. I understand that they are using QT so it should not be hard. I hope that they don't wait too long since Linux bring anothe can of worms that windows doesn't . I jsut want some news.
