3.- Finder->Go->Go to Folder... and type ~/.MacOSX
this will open a Finder window for the hidden folder MacOSX inside your user folder.

4.- Copy environment.plist to that folder.

This last step is pretty dangerous... there are other applications that might have their own environment variables - DAZ Studio for instance.

To mix these two is ok for people with some working knowledge in html or xml. However, if the file already exists, then it should definitely not be overwritten.

In later apps setting this should be done by the installer anyway.
