Problem with "macro" camera...

I'm working on a project that in "real life" would require "macro photography". Let's say the item is 25mmx25mm... getting in close with the camera and getting it focused gives different results (without posting files, the image that you see in the camera window does not match what M~R is rendering).

Is there a problem that I'm not aware of with macro shots, or am I just not setting it up correctly. If needed, I can post files, just didn't want to if this is a known issue.

Rendering from within Solidworks kicks ass BTW :D :D

Hi Mike,

please could you post some pic showing your issue?
btw to get an accurate view you should pay attention manly to this things:
- In the SolidWorks camera property manager you have to fill the "L" value of the "Field of View" with the same value that you get in the "camera position group-> distance to target". Also in the camera tab of the Maxwell property manager you should fill the focal length field with the same value that you have in the "Lens" field of the "Field of View" groupp in the SolidWorks camera property manager . SO if you have a 50 mm lens, put this value in the maxwell focal length.

Juan
