Could someone suggest a material setting to get the blue anodised bits to look like an injection molded plastic?

Hello John,

I suggest you to post it in the main section of the forum, there are a lot of experienced users that will help you. Also I can say that you will have very soon new awesome tools to get something better that the "blue anodised" stuff ;)

Regards,

Juan

I'm actually happy with the blue andodised look-- just want to try some different settings. :D

I looked in the tutorial forum and the material samples, if I use the same ab and sc (around .01) values I get a "glow in the dark jelly baby" that would take 4weeks to render So I thought I'd see if the SolidWorks plugin users had something to offer.

Still better than PhotoWorks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to the new tools, I feel like a kid at christmas can't wait to open my new presents.
:D

Hi John,

First of all, very nice render there you have.
I will suggest you increasing diffuse color, reducing specular color and
decreasing glossiness and/or roughness to achieve the plastic look you want.

Best regards,
Tom
