One Crash one lockup

One Crash - I have a SolidWorks part file that crashes on assigning a material. It's quite a large part file, combining hidden surface bodies and one solid body, so I saved as Parasolid and reloaded it into SolidWorks and it worked fine.

One Lockup - In a part file if you assign an emitter to a face you are warned that this is not possible. In an assembly file if you apply an emitter to a face you are not warned and machine locks up.

Note The machine I'm currently running
Windows XP SP2 - Clean install
SolidWorks 2006 SP0 - Clean install
Maxwell 1.2.2a (newly installed no other version ever installed)
swMaxwell2006.dll - 0.8.2.0 (newly installed no other version ever installed)
Only other software on machine is MS office and QuickTime 6.5

Let me know if you want a copy of the part file.

One Crash - is not related to that specific model-- I have had other crashes since, it's something to do with the way I was picking materials.

I'll try to establish the sequence that causes the problem and let you know.

It's no problem, even in Beta it beats working with PhotoWorks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really excited about Maxwell, great piece of software.

Thanks
