I was wondering if anyone can help me on what would be the best way to model or use Maxwell to get plants and trees in my renders. I am been just adding them in with photoshop but I am going to do a animation and tring to find the best way to do this. Any help would be great.

[edit] If it makes a difference I always export my scenes directly to maxwell studio.

If your exporting to studio and working there before you render, I would just download some from a website like turbosquid or somewhere like that as .obj and place them directly in studio.

There is a free site here that you might be able to get the 3ds format and try and get it into studio. Go to the plant you want and click more to see all the formats you can download. http://graphics.uni-konstanz.de/plantslib/

Look at my other post http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=30502

This plugin allows you to bring in any obj file and make it a "real" SW part. You can do whatever you like to it then.
