echo.... ooo....ooo... we are going to make some tests with leds here, we hadn't seen renders with leds yet, that's interesting! can anyone post a test with leds??

groan.... i guess i'll install 2006. i was kinda waiting for the stand alone version. oh well. is the 06 beta still available?

Your far braver than me 8etty. I have not yet downloaded 2006 and probably will wait till official release. The 'voodoo spirit' that is currently in pocession of my system is a very jealouse 'juju' and I don't want to piss it off. I have children to feed. 
I like the retro watch - did you do the ID on it? - The last watch I owned, my baby daughter threw in the bin without me noticing - It was a simple Swiss Railway watch by Mondaine - since then I have no watch - its actually quite a liberation !!
Did you see the post Mike Tripoli put on the SW newsgroup - Lightwave for $495 to those with a SW licence. Only seems for US though, but has any one found a European dealer who sells at this price. Or by just mentioning 'lightwave' have I just let off a smell in a crowded room

Looks good betty. Yeah the led's need some work. Thats the holy grail for us product designers.....the perfect method to render an led. I am still searching. I was planning on waiting till the final release of 2006 before I started playing in SW. Its so close now I mine as well wait. I have the rhino plug to entertain me until then.
