When changing image quality in solidworks to the highest resolution, = more triangles right ...

does this effect render time or graphics card workload when exporting it into studio...

?

As far as I can remember if the image quality is low then the model you export is also low resosultion and faceted!!

am i correct ?

Yes, that's basically correct. If you use high 'image quality' settings in SW document properties, it will:

1. take longer to export the MXS
2. not really take any longer to render

If there are more triangles, then there are more transfers of mesh-data that the plugin has to make between SolidWorks and the MXS file, so it exports slower. But, once you are rendering, it should not matter much, since Maxwell doesn't care too much about rendering lots of geometry.
