Im using Solidworks 2007 with XP64

How do i apply materials to a part? In the Maxwell dropdown I just have 'Render Scene', 'Render Settings', 'Display Tessellation', 'Visit Homepage' and 'About Maxwell Render'... should there be anything else.

Also what's the password for the Maxwell Solidworks 2007 PDF in the plugins folder?.... is this the manual?

Please please help me out. I need to actually use this today.

Hi Will,

You apply the materials using the Maxwell Task Pane. Have you seen the videotutorials in the website? I don't understand what do you mean about the password of the manual of the plugin, are you not able to open it?

Thanks,

Juan

In the Next Limit > Plugins folder there is a file that says Maxwell-Solidworks2007 PDF, about 3MB. If i try and open it it gives me a pop up box sayng 'pdf security password'.

I'm using the task plane but i've just got 'Render Options' 'Camera' 'Sky' and 'Preferences'... wheres the materials option, am i missing a file?

Can you give me a link to the video's .... on the forum they are from 2005.

If you can see these options it means that everything is properly loaded. To see the videos just go to our main website www.maxwellrender.com, go to product/workflow.. and seach the SolidWorks logo. We are sorting it again to make it clear.

About the manual, we are checking the installation issues in 64 bits machines, it seems that the installer does not work properly in some systems. We are looking into that and we will provide more information as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Juan
