Maxwell SW plugin is consistently crashing - any SW model
(even a simple sphere)

OS - Windows XP SP2 32bit - 2Gb RAM, Athlon X2 4400 2.21Ghz

Solidworks 2007 SP 1.1

Maxwell SW Plugin v1.1 (dated 22 August 2006)
'about' reports - Maxwell Engine RC5.6, SW plugin v 0_9_1 RC

workflow.
1. open SW
2. load assembly / part
3. place camera if not existing
4. Attempt to load maxwell PM
5. Solidworks crashes after short delay
(reports 'Available Resources')

This was working - I will try to reinstall the plugin and see if that resolves matters.

Are there any plans to release an updated plugin soon?? (for sw2007??)

any advice/comments welcome

I think you nee to open SW with the Maxwell plug-in turned off. Once your model is open you can then turn on the Maxwell plug-in and everything will work as it should.

this does indeed work -
now using sw 2007 sp2 - uncheck the load at startup option and then load mxw plugin after loading in scene
