Hi Pierre,
Sorry, I just have noticed that the manual included in the packaging has not been properly updated. We will fix it inmediately. Anyway I enclose here the section regarding swmx.pref file in the manual:
Default values:
It is possible to change the default values of the parameters that are displayed when the
Maxwell property manager is opened. Inside the zip file that contains the plugin there is another
file named swmx.pref. It is necessary to copy this file to the Maxwell application folder (where

parameters. It is strongly recommended to backup the original swmx.pref provided with the
installation to restore it if necessary.mediately. I enclose
I am pretty sure that it is not working because the file should be placed in the Maxwell installation folder (in the same folder of mxcl.exe)
Kind regards,
Juan

Juan,
Sky settings don't work.
Also do you think it would be possible to add default material that would be loaded when you open maxwell plug-in in SW.
It could be something like this in swmx.pref file :
Materials:
c:\path\MyFavouriteMaterial1.mxm
c:\path\MyFavouriteMaterial2.mxm
c:\path\MyFavouriteMaterial3.mxm
etc...
This is just an idea that would help improving workflow.
