Hi,
Last week I suffered a hard drive failure. Rebuilt my system so everything is a fresh install. Using sw2006 sp3.3 with rc5 and suddenly there is a big change in performance.
Most notable: Applying a material to a body takes about 90 seconds whereas it used to be almost instantaneous.
Also, my first attempt to export an mxs resulted in solidworks crashing. This has never happened before.
Another interesting thing: This part has a flex feature and the end. I tried the command 'display triangles' and it displays the triangles of the part in both the flexed and unflexed state. Maybe this is the problem?
It's possible it's a sw service pack issue?
Thanks,
Kandor
