Transparent shadow background

Is it currently possible to set the shadow image to transparent instead of white as shown in the example below?

It's not possible, but why do you need it transparent? Multiply blending mode will remove all the white.

Working on product shots that require no background but include shadows for use on a website. The final image is saved as PNG with alpha + shadow.
At the moment I'm converting the shadow layer in PS but the workflow would be much more smooth and straight forward if the shadow image could be saved with transparency straight from Maxwell.
Indigo seems to be providing this straight from the box

This would be a welcome addition for me too. We do mainly product shots and people usually want PNGs with transparent shadows as a final result. Modo also offers transparent shadows out of the box and it speeds up the workflow a lot.
