I am rendering over the network and I recently bought a new computer and installed MR. I didn't see that MR 3.2.1.4 was out so I had a computer rendering with 3.2.1.2 and one with 3.2.1.4. I noticed that the MXI's doubled in size. Why is this? Because they were 500 Mb in size and now are over 1gb per MXI. Doing an animation of over a 1000 frames with such file sizes is not preferable at all.

SAME HERE!!!!! 13 Gigs per node..... Takes forever to merge... What is the problem? How come the files are that big all of a sudden?????

there are some rather fundamental problems with 3.2.1.4 that are not fixed yet.

I reverted to 3.2.1.2

Then something went wrong with testing if it's available via Customer Portal (v 3.2.1.4)

Bugs in 3.2.1.4 so far:
- resume MXIs doesn't work
- double sized MXI

I did not check the portal but followed the threads in the forum and only downloaded from the beta page.

But 3.2.1.4 is in deed available at the customer portal

I've also had serious problems with opening MXI's in Photoshop and After Effects. I will most probably have to re-render all of my frames. I reverted to 3.2.1.2 but that did not help, even newly rendered frames I cannot open in PS of AE.

I've contacted costumer support but they don't have a fix.

Don't install 3.2.1.4! I am VERY disappointed with this!

You are totally right. We are working on fixing this for next early build.

Since I upgraded to MR 3 I've come across more bugs then there ever were in 2.7.

I really should make a list with everything that is not working or is slower or whatever. I don't know what is going on at Next Limit but it seems to me they are pouring all of their efforts into marketing rather then development.

We are working on releasing 3.2.1.5 next week. Please be patience
