Is it possible to apply soft edges within Maxwell Studio to break geometry hard edges?

If you mean for geometry then no, you would have to model the fillets/chamfers.

For soft edges, maybe try this http://support.nextlimit.com/display/mx ... OpenSubdiv extension.

I did mean geometry. I corrected my post above to reflect this.

Thanks for the pointer feynman. I'll give the OpenSudiv extension a shot.
