Hi all.
I'm a real newb to maxwell. I come from a archicad background and am trying to use maxwell for archviz.
Anyhow, I have been slowly trying to learn materials. Being a newb, I've generally been modifying existing materials, which has worked ok for me, but I'm having a real issue with all my new MXM files not previewing properly in maxwell. I am referring to the preview in the material browser, and not the preview when you edit a material.

I was hoping someone could perhaps point me to somewhere where it explains how to set up the preview of an object. Many thanks in advance.

I just discovered that when I save the materials to 'mxm files' in the maxwell applications folder (mac), they display properly.
So the previews that don't display properly are located in a sub-folder of 'mxm files'.
Does anyone know if there's any way of correcting this, or do I have to have my entire collection of materials in the main 'mxm files' folder?
