Hi,

I have just upgraded to Maxwell 3 but am having problems using it with my wacom tablet. I cannot select any of the menus, buttons etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution please. I cannot use a mouse due to having carpal tunnel problems.

Thanks a lot.

Neil

ps. Maxwell 3 is amazing. Can't wait for the stereo rendering in 3.2.

Thanks for the reply.

Weird, I wonder it could be then. It works fine in all other apps.

I have just updated the drivers and it is still the same.

On mac it is fine, the problem is with Window 8.1.

Hey, which version of the wacom plugin are you using? I installed the latest last night, still the same.

Do you use the tablet in mouse mode?

Thanks.

Neil

FYI

i use 6.3.1.w3 with an intuos 3, i use a grip pen and a sometimes the tablet-mouse.

i noticed before with the mouse (in mouse mode) i have the same problem you describe and only in maxwell apps.

the pen and the mouse in pen mode both work fine. looks like a rare bug

Thanks for that. Just done a test with the tablet in pen mode, Maxwell works fine. Thing is I don't use a mouse, I work solely with the pen. Mouse mode is so much easier to work with.

I have had this with a couple of other apps in the past. Most work perfectly. Weird.

Damn, no idea why I keep doing double posts!!

Little update. I have just got a new monitor and the wacom works fine. FYI I was having the problem when I was running Studio etc on my laptop. I have now plugged the screen in and it runs. Go fathom!!

Could be, it has a touch screen too. I deactivated that to see if it help. Doesn't seem to do anything. I can't see what the difference is when running an external monitor. It is the same machine after all.

Weird how it only effects Maxwell though.

I am going to upgrade to Windows 10 soon. Maybe that will fix it.
