Short question concerning version compatibility of .mxm files: Which previous versions of Maxwell would be able to read .mxm files that were exported with the current version?

Compatibility backwards is only available within the same subversion (any version who shares the first two numbers) so 3.1.1 (actual version) is only compatible backwards with 3.1.0 (or any of the 3.1.0.x betas)

Thanks, nachob!
What are the restrictions regarding forward compatibility? I assume, later version of Maxwell can still read old .mxm files, right?

Any version should be able to open any mxm or mxs file created with ANY previous version (with very few exceptions usually because bugs in the past), and is our plan for the future, we consider any old scene not working as a bug. So any scene or material created now will work in the future like now.
