Question about light colors

Hi,
little question.

For reasons that I understand, the white should not exceed 220 RGB or value 220.
(red line on my picture)

If I want a very light pink, can I give him the values (A)
or I should be below the RGB 220 / value 220 (B)

As I understand it, you should avoid going to 255 in any color, since this gets translated into energy when rendering (the color just specifies which wavelength). You can go higher than 220 though, around 235-240. Though I would avoid that for things like walls or other large reflecting surfaces and try to keep that at around 225.

Ok,
thank a lot Mihai.

(For the white 220 values, I referred to this page (Saturated/bright materials))
