[SOLVED] Slow network rendering

Hello!
I am trying out network rendering but I find that my main computer does 90% of the work and the slaves only add 5% each when you look at how far they are in sampling levels. If I do a benchmark with a "normal" (non network) render one of the slave computers are even slightly faster – so why is it so slow when used as a slave? Is this to be expected?
Best,

No one else has experienced this?

The same Maxwell Render process runs on each of your nodes, regardless if it's called through the network, or manually. I think it's better if you judge on the final merged render, instead of looking through the Monitor. Also, while your nodes are rendering watch their CPU usage to see if they really are rendering with all cores. Have you changed something to the temp folders of the nodes?

I can confirm that. I have the same problem. If I start network rendering on five computers for example, very often two of them after voxelization phase run with about 5-10% maximum speed. It looks like a random process.

Always the same two? Have a look at this thread as well:

Maybe something to do with Windows sleep/hibernation settings?

I'm not sure that there are the same two... I'll try to look at this. I'm sure that all my computers have correct windows settings but I'll check it too.

Have you altered anything in regards to the temp folder settings of the nodes, or Manager/Monitor?

I think that I have a solution. I had problems today. Two computers with Windows 8.1 . To avoid slow render I increase a maxwell priority from low to normal and above normal and now everything working fine. Previous I didn't note any alerts. I hope that I fix the problem.
