Hi guys,

It's been some time since I was active here.

I am working on a new scene that should have retroflective surfaces, e.g.:

Now, I've seen there were some older threads about this in the V1 and V2 forums, but I didn't see a particular solution, so I wanted to pick this up again in V3.

Has anybody a solution ?

Any input welcome. Thanks!

Matt

If you search for 'retroreflect'

You can find an old thread;
the front panel of the shirt has less than 1mm thickness with an sss based mxm, ND 1.00001, pos assym .8, roughness 7, scattering 6000, attenuation 40nm. NO MAPS USED

1st image; camera is aligned to main light (camera flash)

Hi guys!

For the shirt: I don't get the trick that makes the SSS have this look.. can you tell me what the idea is?

Anisotropy: that's a neat idea !

Thanks..
