what resolution shall I set for a 10x12 print or 9x12 print

you have to know what dpi is needed. dpi x dimensions = resolution. a 10x12 image 300dpi is 3000x3600. the dpi can vary quite a bit depending on how the final image is being used and how far away you are going to be from it, so you'll have to figure that out first.

will be view from 6 to 7 ft away
