Just watched it again and caught the fact that it is running on cuda , did also notice the scene lighting seemed to change.Could be just brightness , or a possible change in the engine?

Anyway massive kudos to Juan and the team for going this way gives me a lot of hope for my future use of maxwell! Now I'm wondering just how far away this for us to play with and what if any limitations this brings to maxwell whilst it's running on gpu . I'm actually hoping it can be used in a hybrid CPU plus gpu mode. Although I'm half expecting it to be one or the other unfortunately.We shall see

Oh, no! I was a big fan of the stance that GPU rendering was not mature enough for a full featured render engine (or was it opencl or...).

Now, seriously, that's awesome!

I hope materials will be just the same in final version. A CPU+GPU mode would be awesome.
