Procedural noise bump with world coordinates problem

Hi!

Unfortunately I can't get a procedural noise bump work when I set it to "world coordinates". I am currently playing with "defaultpreview" ball. I can setup a noise texture I like in the reflectance 0 slot with world coordinates but when I put the same texture into any bump slot, I get no bump at all. When I use the same texture with UV mapping it works fine.

Can you help me?

Hello Andrey,

Procedurals on bump don't work at this moment in Word coordinates. It is a known limitation.
Fortunately we are already looking into this to find a way to overcome it and make it possible.

Hopefully we will have this solved on next versions.

Just tried to do this (latest beta) and it still doesn't work ....

I'm eagerly awaiting this too - would be a great way of doing grunge and bump maps without having to UV map every last piece. Any ETA on this feature?
