Problem with boolean rendering

I'm having trouble with a cutaway rendering using 2 boolean objects, and would appreciate it if any of you have any suggestions. I'm not sure if it is something I did, a lack of understanding, or a bug. I am lighting the scene with a simple Sky (constant dome, sun off), and multiple interior emitters. Using 2 boolean objects to cut away the ceiling and some walls to produce a cutaway rendering. Modeling in SketchUp 2014, latest beta plugin.

I'm getting a "ghost" of the walls that should be cut away by the boolean objects. I'm using multilight, so I can see that the ghost is showing up from the interior emitters, but not from the sky lighting. Any idea what is going on here? I would think that I wouldn't see any ghost image from the walls that should be cut away.

I'm confused. I don't know what is causing this.

Thanks for reading! And thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi Brad,

Did you post this also in the SKetchup forum? I'm sorry you didn't get a reply to your question, if you still have this problem would it be possible to upload a simplified version of this scene and private message me the link? You can send me the MXS file exported from Sketchup, along with any textures (open the MXS in Studio, File>Pack & Go to put everything in one folder, zip it and upload that).
