License problem

Hi

I tried to improve our network this weekend. For example I created an LACP for my server machine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_aggregation) connecting it with a linked two cable connection to the switch, so he'll be able to use both network lanes.
The result was, that my 10 licenses now only show 4 licenses anymore (not sure how that number comes together, as I bought 2+8).
I'm assuming the reason for that would be the link aggregation. How can I fix this? What is wrong?
Do I first have to make the link aggregation and then activate the licenses again?

Thx,
Kami

Hi Kami,

I've asked Miguel, our licensing guru to look at this, but are these V2 or V3 licenses?

It's floating v3 licenses. The 2 I have were free upgrades and the 8 were paid upgrades.

But "2+8", do you mean you have 10 floating full licenses, so a total of 40 nodes? Or how many actual full licenses do you have? What does your "maxwell_suite_floating.lic" file say (which should be in your RLM computer, and ONLY there)? You can PM me the contents if you want. Along with the log files from the folder: C:\ProgramData\Next Limit\Maxwell\licenses\logs

All the other computers should only have a "maxwell_floating.lic" file and NO other .lic files concerning Maxwell.

Yes, 10 floating licenses in total (so 110 nodes) activated in two parts as I got the free upgrade licenses before I bought the upgrade.
I'll pm you the content of the maxwell_suite_floating tomorrow. Of course there is only the server machines with that file, as I did not activate the license anywhere else. A bit weird is that on the portal.nextlimit.com under 'DOWNLOAD YOUR ACTIVE LICENSES' it lists one of the two activation files twice - no idea how that happened.
Cheers

Ok, then please send me the log files from that folder as well, it will hopefully have some clues in it.
