Scaling textures on layers

i am trying to create a brick wall with graffiti. i have used the arroway brick and added a layer with the graffiti. the issue is that i cannot keep the scale of the brick right AND adjust the graffiti with the single planar mapping widget. is there a way to isolate the layer so it has its own mapping widget? thanks for any help or inspiration!

Assign the brick maps to channel 0 and the graffiti maps to channel 1. Create two UV sets for your wall with channel assignments 0 and 1 and scale each one accordingly.

thanks! that worked. i thought it might be channels but was unsure how to use them. much appreciated.
