'MXI batch processing' crashes when you select 'Input folder'.

I'll looking to spit out separate lights from a series of .mxi's.

cheers,

Steve

After Effects crashes on importing mxi's, as does NukeX7.

I've tried both the previous and beta plugins.

Photoshop opens mxi's ok.

Is there a way to batch process the mxi files to spit out the lights?

cheers,

Steve

Ah, just realized Nuke reads multi layered exr's so I can split the channels there.

cheers,

Steve

I guess you are in OSX. There is a known issue with some dialogs in OSX and the mxi batch processing one seems fixed for the next version.

Regarding After Effects and Nuke plug-ins, can you give me more info? What version of OSX you have? And After Effects?

Can you send me a simple MXI that crashes? or all mxis crashes AE and Nuke?

Hi Brany,

Yep, on OSX 10.8.5

We're using:
After Effects CS6
and
NukeX7.0v9 (will be upgrading to 8 shortly).

Unfortunately I can't send the exact mxi but I can send a simplified file.
What's your email ad?

cheers,

Steve

I test the MXI you sent me in Nuke 7 and 8 (win/osx) and it does not crash. AE CS6 (win) and CC (win/osx) neither.

Our plug-ins for OSX are built for osx 10.9 with backward compatibility until 10.7. Maybe there is an issue with oxs below 10.9 but there are users with 10.8 running the plug-in without problems.

Did you try the last beta version of the plug-ins? (http://www.maxwellrender.com/betas/)
