Hi guys, to summarize my issue:
In Studio, add a chrome material to a peice of geometry.
Create a new layer, add my decal (in this case, just some text) to the BSDF
Add the same texture (inverted) to the Opacity mask to let the base chrome show through.
Start up FIRE, everything seems fine. Chrome material is showing, with my black text on top.

Save my work.

Start up Studio again, and although my layers have the same settings, the text is gone (but the chrome remains).

To get it back, i have to remove the 'UVSet 0' and press New to add a new one. Then set the channel to 0, and press Normalize and Adjust alternately a few times. After a while, the writing reappears in FIRE, but does not always appear in the final render! :)

Anyone seen this before? I can reproduce this problem every single time, and fix it every single time by doing the above. Interestingly, another peice in the same project seems fine when i reopen Studio.

I created the UV in UV Layout, and it seems fine in Maya.
