no motionblur possible with maxwell mesher?

hi forum,

we cannot get maxwell mesher to render with motionblur.
importing only particles is working fine and they are rendered with correct motionblur
as you can see in the little screencapture:

but maxwell mesher won't render motionblurred meshes:

is it a bug or do you have hints?

thanks,

You may need to use "deformation" type motion blur, since the vertex count changes each frame. I haven't tried it, but it should work.

Hello,

MaxwellMesher user the current scene camera shutterspeed to adjust the amount of motion blur. If the particles speeds are low, a shutterspeed of, say, 1/250 will give a time of 0.004s. This, multiplied by that low particle speed will result in a small vertex displacement, i.e, a barely visible motion blur.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
Miguel.

ah it seems we introduced a wrong scale. i first imported the scenegeometry
as alembic and had to scale the maxwell mesher down (0,01) to match the
alembic geometry. importing it with normal scale renders with perfect motionblur! :)
sorry and thanks!
now we just need a way to get the maxwell c4d plugin to export extension objects
instead of geometry. or is there a way to render sequences directly from realflow->maxwell?
i think it's still not possible?

cheers,
basti
