triangle groups v3 bug

Hi Just reposting this here as Marton has mentioned in the modo forum that this is not the plug in's fault. Imported multi material objects are not showing any triangle groups in maxwell studio v3.

Do you have the "Create triangle groups for multimaterial objects" preference enabled?

Hi Juan,
tried to make the sample scene as simple as possible , just a sphere with a couple of materials and a plane. Doublechecked "create triangle groups for multimaterial objects" was checked.

I confirm there is a bug here, that will be fixed in the next update. If you need it urgently we can provide you a link tomorrow. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Hi Juan ,
just tried it on a quick test and all looked good . I could see the triangle groups

. There does seem to be some issues with swapping between the groups in that panel though (seems stuck on the first selected when you hit click the material , you can't then click on another material under the triangle groups panel). But it is now workable as I was able to put new materials on those individual groups, so many thanks!
I have made a post about hdri's,and mxi's as opacity masks causing a separate bug which is still present in this new build you can not currently use them as a mask and if you try they cause render errors. 16 bit files do work just not 32bit.
Anyway many thanks and appreciation for your prompt resolution of the triangle groups bug !

We will continue working on fixing the rest of the bugs, in a few days the new betas download area will be ready and you will not have to wait for official patch to get this kind of small bugs fixed.
